A year ago I stood in front of eight kids and one nervous parent. This weekend we ran a bracket with 96 juniors and a wait-list of 40. Some notes from that first year.
- Kids don't need drills. They need a game they can't wait for.
- Scoring rules are the boring part. Save it for month two.
- The parents get more nervous than the kids. Every time.
"The trophies are for the kids. The pizza afterwards is for the parents."
